Our company was established fifteen years ago manufacturing paper lanterns and shades. At the beginning, we started with thirty workers and at a small factory of 100 square meters, slowing expanding into a manufacturing facility of over 2,000 square meters. Over the years, we have been expanding step by step in a gradual and practical pace, standing firm before we move ahead for another stage.
Currently, our factory employed over 200 workers. Most of our workers, about 85% of them, are recruited from the nearby villages aged between 18 to 40. All these workers are from the local female labor population, only a small portion of our staff is from out of town. A very important advantage to us is that we provide employment opportunities to local inhabitants, which in turn this workers, have a strong sense of belongings towards our factory. Skilled workers are one of our biggest assets, most of our workers had been with the company over 8 years, and our dropout rate is less than 8% over the years of operation. Our factory had also reserved an additional 2,000 square meters of space for future expansion.
